After about 50 emails we have the results of which tags won.  B and D were neck and neck. D won by 1 vote and so did the hang loop.

I like checking my google analytics like I check my email. Yesterday, every state except Montana and South Dakota tuned into the HomeRoom Blog. I’m definitely appreciative of a stranger caring about Homeroom. I wish i could get to know everyone that tunes in. But at the end of the day, I wonder how come i don’t get any love in Montana or South Dakota?

I stopped by Antenna magazine while i was in New York. Have you picked up an issue of antenna? If not, you should. HomeRoom got the front spread in one of the issues. This is my boy Eric. He’s oe of the reasons that Antenna makes millions a year.

Eric is always dapper and his desk is filled with things that reflect that…and a can of chunky chili.

I went to go meet up with Jess and almost walked to jersey before i realized i was going the wrong way. Sorry, for being late.

Randomly ran into Steve O. and Saint from GFC. I just had lunch with the crew in SF a few weeks back.

And, the highlight for any entrepreneur. The Ecko Office building. You know Ecko is still making  a billion American dollars a year…right?

My frined Joe La Puma works at one of Ecko’s companies;  Complex Magazine . He’s supported HomeRoom since day one. I still remember when he first called me and said. I’m gonna feature your stuff. We caught up a little, talked some talk and I was on my way through a maze of security . Good convo bro.

I stopped by  3sixteens office to catch up with Andrew. The line is looking great.

Saw this 3 year old sticker randomly on Rivington. I remember the day i put it up.

Kicked it with the Boys from Frank magazine. The New issue is killing.

Franks office has grown 10 times bigger. I remember when it was in the back of the Barber Shop

Tools of the trade. I got down on some sewing today. Made some dope stuff.

Tonight i had  the honor of dining with one of my heroes.  What made it more special was the fact that we got to site at the chef’s bar. It was a good GREAT! time. What made it even greater, was seeing every ingredient being put together for our meal.

The chard Octopus in a peperoni, radicchio, rice beans, chorizo, chicory— was so good.

Casunzei Ravioli golden beets, poppy seed brown butter, dried orange, ricotta salata was just as good…

…and the Chicken “al diavolo” escarole, garlic, chilies —was way beyond what my guest expected… This is the best chicken that i have had. I’ve been talking about this chicken since the last time I was in NY.

The restaurant is called Dell’Anima (38 Eighth Ave., New York, NY 10014). Don’t forget to ask for the chef’s counter sitting.

I saw these shoes the other day at Camouflage on 8th AVE, NYC. I think that store represents me very well with there choice of accessories. Such as these shoes and there Filson Bag Collection.

I try not to get to personal on here. Every now and then my personal life intertwines with HomeRoom.

Today was someone specials 25th Birthday. One of my gifts was the best food that NY has to offer (to my knowledge) in the following categories: Sandwich, red velvet Cake, hot dog, cupcakes,Speak Easy, mac and cheese, red velvet and Japanese. I don’t feel to bad about eating all this in one day. I’ve been walking a good 10 miles a day.

With out a doubt New York is the best city to live in for my industry. Every time I’m back home I get so much done. Not say that i don’t get a lot of stuff done in SF. New York is the garment and media hub. How can you not make it out here?   I am constantly running into familiar faces and friends at every corner in this city. The days always prove to be random and eventful.

The subway with a slow shutter speed is always a good photo op.

Every time i see this blue cup on TV. I know the scene its being filmed in NY. I still haven’t quite figured out why the west coast lacks great fast food like Maoz or Chickpea? or the place where u get these blue cups filled with coffee?

I went to Steven Alan ’cause my  waxed cotton rain jacket tore. I don’t have the time to repair the entire side. I wanted to see if they would swap it out for another one. She said nope call the district manager…fail.

But, the chick working at SA did have this dope sewing montage on here arm. Hot!
