The HomeRoom Records music project is coming along. Niko Villamor is spearheading the project as I type. Look out for him and I, on stage towards the end of the summer.
Heres some behind the scene footage for “I’m bumping”.
It came out pretty good considering our budget was 4 elfs, a satchel of gold dust, and some rope.
I used to hate Oasis, then i started liking them after hip-hop fell off.
Now the two are back in my life, at the same time, and its worse than ever.
mood: I’ll let this one slide…

Elayne put me up on this… source: jordansays.files.wordpress.com “Jay-Z schooled Oasis’ Noel Gallagher yesterday at Britain’s famed Glastonbury musical festival.
In April, Gallagher slammed Jay-Z being part of the Glastonbury lineup. The festival has roots in “hippie” culture, and apparently Noel wasn’t too keen on a rapper taking the stage. In an interview regarding Jay-Z, Gallagher said “I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.”
Oh?
Wrong is it? Well, I guess that’s open to debate, however, this is not:
A. WTF has Oasis done that’s relevant in the last decade?
B. Is Noel Gallagher married to Beyonce Knowles? (No, because clearly, he’s not ready for her jelly).
C. Shawn Carter is a billionaire music, clothing, record label, sports team, etc mogul and you, Mr. Gallagher, are a has been.
Jay took it all in stride, showing up on stage with a guitar slung over his shoulder like a hipster, and leading the crowd in Oasis’ “Wonderwall”. I realize Jay-Z isn’t what I’d call a great singer, (not to take anything away from his obvious skills as an MC) but the fact is, he had fun with the situation, and Gallagher came out looking like the douchebag here.”
As some may know, musics always been a passion of mine, Before HomeRoom/ Le HomeRoom I was planning on doing something in the music industry, but then HomeRoom took priority to that route. Well know the opportunity has come for music industry to come back into my life…

As a kid growing up in SF we had a great local hardcore rap scene. Across the Bay Bridge in Berkley and Oakland we had a great Hip-Hop scene that produced great conscious music from Zion-I, Hieroglyphics, Souls of Mischief and many others.
When I think of San Francisco Rap i think of Andre Nikatina and San Quinn.
Last night i ran into San Quinn.
Daniel: Hey Quinn i want to introduce you to AL of HomeRoom Me: Good to meet *San Quinn cuts me off* San Quinn: I love you, your doing it, represent! I been watching you. Me: Thanks bro! San Quinn: Here man take this money, get your self a drink, keep the rest. *pulls out a rubber banded wad of $$$$* Me: I appreciate it, but, I can’t. San Quinn: Com’on jus take it Me: I’m not drinking tonight
Mr. Quinn! You got to love him!
Some one get “Big Rich” size triple head sunglasses…
Why is it called supreme soul instead of soul sector????
Well, MTV wanted Mikey Disco to sign over the rights to Soul Sector so they can merchandise their gear. Mikey wasn’t about to give up 10 years of hard work to MTV. So, he decided to name it Supreme Soul instead.
Mikey Disco the dance lead and Founder of Soul Sector came by the office to chop it up with us today. Its crazy how last seasons winners the Jabbawockeez and Soul Sector have similar styles. From what I hear… the two groups go back and forth building upon each others style…and there’s some beef too? Lets see how it pans out this season!
I’m not one to pick sides, so, let the show business begin!
My homie Jason Manly and I went to go check out the Zion-I and Mos Def show today!
I was chilling back stage for a minute and I ran into Dave Chappelle and Smerve who I haven’t seen in awhile.
Them: Hey Alex Me: Hey you guys! Me: Dave, do you have a lighter? Dave Chappelle: I have the patent on fire *lights my cigarette* Me: ha!
I spent a good time talking to Dave Chappelle about what else…the topic of the year. The Zeitgiest Movie!
Shortly after Mos Def finished his set with my favorite song “I’m leaving”… he came over to us and joined in.
I have to say Mos Def is funny. Its funny to hear what mos def and Dave chappelle go through at airports and border checks.
Dave: People assume I can’t read when I’m in the first class passenger line at am airport. TSA: excuse me sir, can you read that sign… it says first class.
Dave: who’s gonna believe that a black guy coming back from Costa Rica isn’t gonna have drugs on them..I’m just a mule.
It was a long and funny night to say the least.
Its 4:17 am and I have a meeting at 11am across town! Good night!
